FORMER Bachelorette and Home and Away actress Sam Frost and her Survivor star partner Jordie Hansen have swapped the city for a Queensland hinterland hideaway.
The couple, who recently welcomed their first baby, Ted, have bought a four-bedroom brick home in leafy Doonan, in the Noosa shire, for $1.185m.

In what was a swift and emotional purchase, the couple inspected the property the day before the auction and impulsively decided to bid for it the next day.
Lindy McAskill of Ray White Noosa River, who marketed the property, said “they just walked in and fell in love with it”.

Frost and Hansen were up against one other bidder, and went toe to toe until it tied at $1.18m. “Then Sam went up another $5K,” Ms McAskill said.
The couple nearly decided not to go to the auction as Frost’s Sydney property had sold for $1.59m that morning, which was not as much as she had hoped for it.

Frost originally listed her Alexandria townhouse to help fund the house purchase, as well as save a bit for the couple’s now delayed wedding.
“It’s on a raised block and it’s just a beautiful entry, up a nice driveway, surrounded by all bushland and natives,” Ms McAskill said.

“They said they wouldn’t change a thing, even though it’s an older house, but it’s in immaculate condition.
“There’s a great, big man shed up the back, which Jordie really liked, and they said they could imagine the little boy running around on the big grassed area.”
Jordie apparently really liked the ‘man shed’.
It was an emotional day for both the buyers and sellers, who were downsizing after more than 25 years.
Ms McAskill admitted to being a bit starstruck when she realised who her clients were.
“I knew her face and name sounded familiar,” she said. “When they came in, I was looking at Jordie, and then her. Then I Googled her and said; ‘Oh, I love Home And Away!”

The solid brick house sits on nearly 1ha of established tropical and native gardens and features two bathrooms, a large open-plan living and dining area, a full-length front verandah, a back deck, a separate laundry, and a double lock-up garage.
There’s also a 9 x 6 sqm shed, solar power, a triple carport, and two water tanks.
The home comes with a large timber back deck.
Doonan is close to the historic township of Eumundi and 20 minutes to Noosa main beach.
Frost met Hansen, a landscaper, following his appearance on 10’s reality show Australian Survivor, where he starred alongside Frost’s brother Alex.
They became engaged after just five months of dating.

The couple are returning to television next year on Seven with a series of them travelling around Australia in an RV caravan visiting rural towns in a six-part series called Jordie, Sam & Ted’s Rural Roadtrip.
