Ex Broncos captain Darius Boyd eye for real estate gems is being tested with the buyer of his old three bedroom townhouse now relisting it for sale with a $325,000 price jump.
Property records show Mr Boyd had put $427,000 into buying a 166sq m three bedroom townhouse off Sunland Developments in 2009 on the Gold Coast where he grew up.
When he put the property on the market 10 years later, he had originally wanted $475,000 for it, but then accepted a $15,000 haircut on the price, letting it go for $460,000, the data showed.
One pandemic and one renovation later, the woman he sold to has now put the townhouse back on the market for $325,000 more than she paid Mr Boyd – asking $785,000 for the home.

It is located five minutes from beaches, shops and the M1, and 10 minutes from Coolangatta, the listing said, with two double bedrooms with built-in wardrobes, a master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe and ensuite, a main bathroom plus an extra powder room.
“Enjoy the private courtyard backing onto parkland. Walking your pet around the parks and pond adjoining the complex, perfect for strolls, and feeding the resident swans, ducks and water birds.”
