Strong interest as dual living beach property preps for auction

The property at 44 Messines Crescent, Miami, has two homes in it, freshly renovated.

A dual home property – freshly renovated a block from one of Queensland’s hottest beaches – is set to sizzle under the hammer as its owners move on to their next adventure post-pandemic.

Eoghan Murphy of Kollosche – Broadbeach on the Gold Coast has set the six bedroom, four bathroom, dual garage property at 44 Messines Crescent, Miami, up for auction at noon on Friday June 23.

The property at 44 Messines Crescent is a block back from Miami Beach on the Gold Coast.

It’s the perfect spot to soak up the Queensland sun.

Mr Murphy said there was strong interest from both locals and interstate buyers, especially given both homes were completely renovated and in such a prime position, close to the beach.

The two houses, which will be open for inspection at 9am on Saturday June 17, were bought by the current owners during the pandemic in November 2020, and then upgraded substantially in 2021 to include a fresh modern redesign throughout, double lockup garage, a new pool and multiple entertainment zones.

Mr Murphy said it was a rare opportunity with dual income or dual living potential.

“The home is perfectly equipped for a growing family or multi-generational living, but the flexible floor plan can equally facilitate dual living for those wanting to capitalise on the potential to earn a rental income.”

Some original features were kept during the extensive renovation including beamed ceilings and awning windows, with numerous entertaining decks added for family entertainment space.

The first home or wing of the property has a ground floor galley kitchen, butler’s pantry, wine fridge, with outdoor access for the living and dining zone, its own laundry and three bedrooms upstairs with balcony access.

The second home is ground floor, perfect dual living option for grandparents, with three bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, dining and living zone with access to a deck and private outdoor shower.

The property is zoned medium density with scope to separate the current dwelling into two separate titles, according to Mr Murphy.
